Its not a goodbye

Hye guys,

Today I am quite sad because its our last class for internet and technology class. Overall it was an amazing journey with Madam Azidatun. I would like to thank her for all the knowledge she gave, I never thought I could complete all the assessment required because I am not that good at technology. However with her non stop guidance and knowledge nothing is impossible. Thank you Madam. I will miss asking you questions after class.❤

So guys for our courseware. We did it! It was a hassle, but all the hassle is for good!. It felt like I lost my back due to the long hours of sitting on the floor. Despite all the back pain, I am really proud of my team ❤ We went through a roller coaster ride, but it does not stops us to do the best! There was some question people point out at us about our courseware. One of it was about the music, the reason why we chose not to insert music because we believe not everyone could focus when there's music. Hence we thought music was not a need for this courseware. I hope you guys are doing good! As I said in the previous post, in this entry I would talk about the exciting assignment Madam Azida assigned to us. So basically she asked us to create our very own courseware for adults in a group of 4! I have never designed a courseware in my life hence it is scary but exciting at the same time.

I still remember those days when my mother used to buy koko krunch, they actually gave CD-ROM as a free gift. the CD-ROM is actually a game, as a tool to enhance English language. The way they edited the game was amazing and cute whereas the koko krunch theme was all over the courseware. At that time I was so happy that I played the game again and again.
Today. I never knew I would create one with my own hands.

So moving on to the story board me and my group decided to work on, AUXIALARY VERB that focuses on shall,should,will would. At first my suggestion was to create a video for EFL learners to speak in a correct sentence structure. However, this is a groupwork hence we have to choose a topic that everyone agrees to. We decided to create a courseware for adults age between 17-20. Its going to be a tough job for us whereas we have to create a courseware that suits their age. But let's just hope the best! Pray for us guys!

I can't wait to show the result of our courseware! Till then takecare!

SmartBuilder? What?

How are you? I hope you guys are doing fine. I am having a tough and busy week but let's just hope everything will be good! pray for me guys! ❤ Well, today I am going to talk about the most exciting thing in our whole assignment! Smart Builder!

As usual our lecturer introduced us to this courseware or software that helps you to create a courseware like games for education and more! Here's some sneak peek on how smart builder actually works!

 Here's  how you add the sequence of action for  instance, clicking the button to go to next page. Basically the box is an instruction and sequence.

Here is an example of exercise or activity provided in the software!

What is Instructional Design?

Holla guys!

Today I am going to talk more about instructional design, which make knowledge acquisition more efficient! There will be no use of text book if this application is used. It is also known as a systematic process that is created to assist the process of education and training program.

The most important thing in instructional design is Analysis which consist of 3 elements :

• Need of learner
• Goal
• Development

All of those element must be taken into consideration in creating an instructional design software.

Rapid Prototyping!

Hye everyone!

So this week we learned about instructional design which consist a total number of 7 models. Namely,  GAGNE 9 events, Dick and Carey,Rapid Prototyping,Guaranteed Learning, ASSURE, ARCS Model and Addie Model.
My class consist of 30 plus people and we are assigned in a group of 5 to create a poster and quiz for those models! Our lecturer assign each group the topics by using an application that generates number, hence my group and I got Rapid Prototyping as our topic. What is Rapid Prototyping?

Our Very Own Powtoon!

Do you remember guys on the previous post I said I will share the powtoon video my friends and I created for our...hmm (I lost count)😂 We decided to create a video on the most popular thing happening around us! Time out from phone! It took effort and time to create this video, especially because the house I rent nearby my college does not have Wi-Fi hence staying back at college was the only solution to get a good internet connection.

Hello everyone!

As per to last week after we submitted our own powtoon, Madam Azidatun assigned us to be in a group of 3,again to create powtoon. Usually if there's any group work it would be Balqis, Farhanah, Nabila and me, fortunately Madam allow us to be in group of 4.

This time the task is quite interesting whereas we have to create an explanatory video. In an easier word we have to do a video that is persuasive

and informative at the same time.

After we are assigned with this task, I was so excited that I already had an idea to share with my groupmates.

My Baby Step in creating something fun!

I wonder if i am the only one whom is excited in creating my own powtoon or what 😂 Madam assigned us to create a powtoon video about our goals in life. I have never thought I would create something like this however little did everyone know this is something I wanted to do long time ago. The reason why I didn't its because 😓 I do not think I could.

Powtoon application can be considered as an user friendly application despite the greatest fact of all that its free! It also helps you to create awesome animated videos and presentations for free , in under 10 minutes! So if you are a newbie like me, you can easily use Powtoon to solve your problem!

5th Entry! My first podcast!

Holla amigo!

This week we have been assigned with a task from our beloved lecturer Madam Azidatun, she asked us to create our own podcast with our partner. Personally I love to watch vlogs and recording vlogs but this is my first time creating a podcast~ hence its a new experience for me.

The topic I and my partner Farhanah chose is about a guy name Suhaimi Saad whom got viral on social media. the reason we choose this topic it is because it is interesting as the issue he argued about somehow attract our interest. Our journey in creating this podcast in like a roller coaster because both of us had no idea how to edit. however thanks to Bandlab! ❤

It helped us a lot in editing. although our podcast has some flaws here and there, but we are still proud of ourselves because it has not been an easy journey. so bravo to us and you guys for the support!

Week 4 : Reviewing something ScArY!

Hello guys!

Today I am going to share about  a cool activity I did in class, Podcast! 
Before I start giving review for the podcast I heard how about I give you a quick insights on, what is Podcast?

Podcast could be an audio or video that you can listen to! There are few existing application for podcast namely Spotify, Sound cloud and ais kacang podcast!

Now let move on to the reviewing part!
For my 1st time I choose true story theme as a podcast to be reviewed! 😂 basically first the podcast I listened to talks about the scary experience  they have encountered. I  actually listened to 2 podcast in the same theme , true story. The podcast I listened to is interesting because I am used to watching horror movie but not used to listen to one. So this is basically fun to do whereas you listen and not see what is happening. This is where your imagination skill have to be good.

The Podcast I listened to entitled "Nightmare at 10 sleep", they start their session by describing the place and setting of the place. The way they convey the message was leisure and relaxed at first however there's always elements of suspens that made the listener more eager to know what happened next. At the last seconds of the podcast they creator reminds the listener to be grateful for whatever happens in life. This is one of the reason I love to listen to true story whereas their advice is transparent and real , it absorbs quickly because we know their have faced the situation.

The next podcast I listened to entitled "Trauma should change you" it is an inspiring video from a lady that used to be traumatic on an event. The way she conveyed the message is straight , honest and transparent. Whereas when she talks she tend to play the role of her used to be character and that is nice because we could get a clear picture if what she have face in her life. although it sounds serious but it does also have funny elements that is keep the listeners focus on the storyline.

3rd Week of Cool Words!

Hye everyone!

Today I learned about something that is kind of an interesting knowledge actually. before this I did not know that this process has a specific name for it, and I bet all of you do want to have a rough idea about it.

 The topic I learned was CMC ! 

Can you guess what it means? 

CMC means computer mediated communication!😂 I know right? The moment I heard the name I was like "ohhh, okay"😐 

CMC is basically any form of communication or interaction between 2 or more people via separate computer through network.The most interesting fact is all of this started in late 1980's and 1990's, I wonder what do the people back then ate. They are so innovative ! Can you imagine internet chat rooms are introduced early 90's whereas at that moment it was implemented for long distance learning or teaching.

Another scientific fact and name you should know is. CMC actually divided into 2 namely Asynchronous CMC and Synchronous CMC. 

Asynchronous CMC means communication that is not synchronised whereas people actually take time to reply.

It works oppositely for Synchronous CMC which occur in real time and communication is synchronise . Messages are exchanged and replied immediately.

So guys next time you can use these cool words when you communicate with people !😆 At the same time you can also share knowledge with your peers! Alright I think that's all from me ! See you and takecare!
